Access Remote Mac without any commercial Apps
You can connect to your remote Mac using only pre-installed softwares on Mac OS.
- cd /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications
- open "Screen Sharing.app"
- enter IP address of remote mac
Screen sharing protocol uses VNC and the default port is 5900.
You need to set port-forwarding if you want to access remote mac from outside of an AP.
Remote Mac:
- open System Preferences > Sharing. Check 'Screen Sharing'Client Mac:
- open Terminal.- cd /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications
- open "Screen Sharing.app"
- enter IP address of remote mac
